When you install a catalogue in EQ you install base prices (as per the published catalogue from the supplier). To have EQ calculate your cost and sell prices you should setup EQ with a discount (if you get a better buying price than the list price) and a margin (which is applied to your cost price, to calculate you your selling price). This is very important pricing setup to ensure your prices are correct.
There are 3 levels that you can setup catalogue pricing and it operates in a hierarchy with the most specific settings (level 3) overriding the others.
1. Click Supplier List (main toolbar):
2. Click a supplier name to select it.
3. Click the Catalogues button on the left, to open this screen:
The buttons for level 2 and level 3 apply to the catalogue title that you have highlighted.
| Level 1 |
Whole catalogue Applies to the whole catalogue unless level 2 or 3 is set. |
| Level 2 | Discounts per range (furniture catalogues) or product type (non-furniture). Over-rides the whole catalogue discounts/margins on the specified range or product type. |
| Level 3 | Individual Prices can be set on individual products. Over-rides all previous settings on the specified products. |
