The Info tab is one of the product tabs which appears with product details in each of these screens: the Product Catalogues screen, the Search screen or when you view Supplier List > Individual Prices
Open the Product Catalogues window and locate a product using the Search options to access these options on the Info tab.
This tab can hold 10 user defined fields to hold any extra information you wish.
Setup User Defined Fields
Before you begin, as per the diagram above, click the Setup button to setup the fields in the below screen:
In the Title field enter the name which will appear as the question "prompt"
In the Type field select the type of answer that you want to record. They can be:
Character to store text
Number to store a numeric value including 2 decimal places
Date to store a formatted date e.g. 01/01/2019
Selection List to add a list of answers to pick from a drop down box of multiple choice
Entering User Defined Fields
Click the Edit icon at the top right to edit all of the capture information for the current product.
Once entered, you need to click Save to store the data you have entered.
