Quotes and orders can have a status set (independent of the customer's status). The statuses are user created so you can setup as many different statuses as your business needs and customise their colours. Statuses can be shown on the quotes/orders list and can be used to filter orders for quick tracking.

Adding and customising an order status
- Locate a quote/order either in Customer List or Projects (it doesn't matter which order).
- Right-click the Order Ref. and select Order Status.
- Click the Edit Popup Contents icon next to Order Status:
- Click the Add button and type a name for an order status - for example Quoted.
- Right-click on the colour swatch to use the colour picker to select a new colour.
- Click Update to save and close.
Repeat to add as many different statuses as you like.
Setting an order status on a quote/order
- Locate a quote/order either in Customer List or Projects (it doesn't matter which order).
- Right-click the Order Ref. and select Order Status.
- Select an Order Status from the drop down box.
Optionally change the date and add some notes. - Click Update to save and close.
The chosen status is assigned to your quote/order.
Viewing order status
When viewing on the Customer List screen there is a Status column on the Quotes and Sales Orders tabs.
When viewing on the Projects Screens, you can add a column for Order Status if it is not present:
- Open Projects > Sales Orders
- Click Select Columns:
- Check Status and click Update.
The column is now added to the list. You can click and drag a column heading to move it to a new position.
