When you create a quote (including accepting it as an order) your selling prices are saved within the quotation, so do not automatically change even if you have loaded a new price list.
If there has been a price increase you can use Reprice (available on quotations only, not available once your quote is accepted as a sales order). If you have changed your margins or discounts in supplier screen, or have loaded a catalogue update since you created this quote EQ will offer the new current pricing.
Reprice will check the current catalogue pricing now, and show any products where the price has changed.
You can accept the price increase or discard it.
- Open your quote
- Click Edit
- Click the Reprice button
- The Reprice screen shows like this example with 2 units (item 4 and item 5.1 shown in red) offering new prices:
Tick the Update price box to accept the new price and click Update. Or click Accept All and click Update to save and close.
To discard the price updates, just use the X in the top right to close the window.
Any manually entered sales prices will be lost if you proceed with a Reprice, because it is now checking against the catalogue prices.
