EQ Net is the application that downloads catalogues for EQ and is required for EQ's connectivity.
Customers running versions of EQ Net older than version 1.0.0.666 need to perform a manual upgrade.
You can see the version of EQ Net on it's icon in your Windows system tray.
Left: This is version 1.0.0.128 and needs to be upgraded manually (continue with the instructions below).
Right: This is version 1.0.0.673 and is already automatically updating (no further action necessary).

- Click the link above to download EQ Net and save it into your Downloads folder.
To continue downloading in edge you will need to click ... and Keep:
Then click Show more and Keep anyway: - Save and close your work then completely close all copies EQ.
- If you have an existing version of EQ Net installed, close it down by right-clicking on the icon and selecting Quit:
- Double-click the EQ Net installer:
- On the InstallShield Wizard screen click Next:
- Click Accept on the licence agreement and click Next.
- Leave the installation path unchanged and click Next:
- Click the Install button:
Depending on your Windows user permissions you may be prompted to enter an administrator username and password. This is NOT your EQ login details but instead it’s your local IT administrator details needed to approve the install. We don’t have these login details at Compusoft and if you are prompted, you will need enter the details or consult with your local IT support.
Or if you have permission you can click Yes: - When the installation is finished you can click Finish:
- EQ Net will now automatically open. You will see it appear in the Windows system tray:
You can hover your mouse cursor over the icon to see the current version number. It should now be version 1.0.0.673 or higher.
Your EQ Net upgrade is completed and your EQ system will continue to download updates when required.
