It is possible to export a quote/order to a standalone file. The file is an EQQ format which can only be used to import into another EQ system. This is useful if you want to move orders between separate EQ systems like a laptop and a desktop (if they are not connected).
If you wish to export a quote/order to view and/or edit via a CSV file there are further options to do this individually or in bulk.
- Produce a quotation/order and save it.
- Right-click the order reference (from customer or projects)
- Select More...> Export Quotation/Order (EQ)
- Export either: Export to File OR Email (see below).
Export to File
Enter a location to save the file.
The default is C:\ (Click the browse icon if you want to change location to somewhere such as a USB memory stick. If you change the location you will need to re-enter a filename).
OR
Email (Requires completed e-mail setup)
Click the e-mail tab and enter an e-mail address to send the file to.
5. Optionally tick the box to save the file to the EQ customer folder.
6. Click Export. Click OK to the success message.
You now have a standalone EQQ file. If you selected to save the file to disk it can be copied or moved to another location.
You can import this EQQ file into another EQ system to save manual entry.
