Quotations are the starting point for all orders on EQ. All paperwork that EQ produces has its basis in the original quotation. When it is accepted a quote becomes a sales order but retains the same quote/order reference as it moves through the ordering stages.
There are 2 types of quotations:
Full Room Quote |
| Use furniture quote when producing a full room quotation or a quotation with configurable furniture items, e.g. a full kitchen. You pick the furniture-specific details like door handles and drawerbox options when you begin. You can mix ranges on a quote. |
Quick Quote (Non-Furniture) |
|
Use a quick quote when you do not need configurable furniture products, e.g. small order for additional items or a bathroom quote with component furniture. You do not have to pick any furniture options but you cannot add any furniture to the quote |
Start a New Furniture Quote
Click the Customer List button on the main toolbar:
Locate and select your customer and click the New Quote/Order button:
(If you use the New Quote button on the main toolbar, this also begins a quote but it is not already attached to a customer record, and therefore you must specify a customer before saving a full quote).
Select your main furniture manufacturer and complete the furniture heading options according to your needs and press OK.
(You can mix additional catalogues and ranges in this quote later).
