There are 2 methods to recover a quote/order:
1. Recover an un-saved Quote/Order
If you have experienced a crash or power cut and have lost the quotation you were working on, you may be able to recover the quote's contents. At the point of the error ensure you respond "No" to the "Abort Changes" message - this ensures your part saved file are kept.
1. Begin a new quotation (select the same furniture options if using a furniture quote).
2. Go to the Current Quotation menu:
3. Click Recover Quotation.
Any recent part saved quotes are listed with their date and time to help identify it. Click on a part saved quote and click Recover. This will populate the new blank quote with the items in the recovery file so you can save and continue your work.
2. Restore a Deleted Quote/Order (previously saved)
If you have deleted a quote or order that was previously saved you may be able to recover the file. Note that deleted records are saved in the database until you run a database integrity check. As part of this maintenance the deleted files are fully removed and recovery is not possible after this.
- Open the Customer list.
- Locate a quote/sales order reference (it doesn't matter which one)
- Click the arrow far right of the customer screen
- A table displays any orders that have been deleted recently. If you can identify one to restore, highlight it and click Recover.
It will be restored with the same reference number and to the same customer as previously. If you cannot see it immediately ensure you have clicked to scroll up the list of quotes.
