EQ Flex can send text messages. You can use these to send to customers for marketing, keeping in contact, advising of upcoming appointments and other reminders. You can send messages to customers, sales people and resources.
To send messages, and use postcode to address lookups, you need to purchase a bundle of credits. These can be purchased online.
How to purchase credits
- Go to the website https://www.eqpayments.co.uk
Users of any version of EQ can use the website above.
Users of EQ v17 and EQ Flex v18 and newer, can buy credits within EQ.
Go to System Config, scroll down to Postcodes and Texts. When you select your bundle you are automatically transferred to the secure payment website.
- Click the category EQ Credits.
- Select one of the bundles you would like to purchase.
They are available in quantities of 500, 1,000, 2,000, 5,000 or 10,000.

Click Add to Basket to proceed.
- Click the shopping basket icon and enter your postcode to proceed:
- Click Express Checkout.
Complete the online checkout entering your details and payment card information. All payments are secure.
Once you have entered your details the first time, you will have an account to speed up future ordering.
- Once complete you will receive an email order confirmation.
New credits can take 24 hours to be added to your account.
When sending messages, 1 message credit is used per standard length text. That is 160 characters.
Credits do not have an expiry date on them.
