Each system also has advanced protection against ransomware, exploits, and malware, ensuring strong defense against both external and internal threats.

Where are backups stored and is the data encrypted?
We store backups using the 3-2-1 principle, keeping multiple copies in different locations to ensure your data is safe. All backup data is encrypted, so it remains secure and protected from unauthorized access.
As an option, we can also back up data to the infrastructure of the customer’s choice; this is reviewed on a per-customer basis.
How quickly can the systems be restored if compromised?
We use advanced backup solutions that allow full system restores within hours rather than days. The exact recovery time depends on the size of the data being restored.
Do you run penetration tests or audits?
We have performed penetration tests on other parts of our hosting solutions, but not on the EQ Flex environment. Penetration tests can be arranged on a per-customer basis, though they incur additional costs.
