The following settings apply to the Contracts module. This has been discontinued and these settings only apply to legacy systems with Contracts already in use.
Click: System Config > Optional Modules > Contracts
Kitchen Manufacturer
Select a furniture catalogue to be used as default in your contract quotes.
All quotes are shown using a single range
Tick the box so that only one range is used in the master quote you produce. It is recommended that this is ticked so that you quote in a single range. If this is disabled you will be able to calculate prices for more than one price group. If you use this you must remember to update the multi-group prices if you edit a master quotation. See Multi-group prices.
Use Own Product Groups
Tick to use your own product groupings rather than the preset group titles. If you enable this then click the Product Grouping buttons (see below) to set the detail.
Allow multiple plots in a single quotation (Bathrooms)
Tick to show a plots column on a quotation. You can enter free text into the column on the quote and right-click on the plot name to duplicate all the products in that plot.
Product Grouping (Groups)
This button opens a list of product groups and shows which contracts group they relate to. In the third column enter text that you want to appear as the heading for each group. Any fields that are not required can be left blank.
(Ensure the Use Own Product Groups box - above - is ticked)
Product Grouping (Code)
This button opens a list so that you can add specific products into a contracts group. (As above, but for individual items rather than whole groups).
Headings Tab
Enter text for the heading prompts, one on each line.
Margins Tab
Enter a percentage margin for each product group. These are used as an override to the figures already set in your suppliers screen. Your prices are calculated as cost price plus these margins.
Groups Tab
Use Groups to set up multiple price groups. You can only use this if you have not ticked the "All quotes are shown using a single range" box above.
Type a group title, e.g. price group 1 and tick the Inc tick box to include the group. If you do not tick it, the price group won't be used.
(Note that multi-price groups depend on you recalculating the price once you have completed a master quotation).
Info Tab
This tab allows you to enter any extra information you may need to use. There are 2 columns of prompts, one for site specific info and one for house type info. Enter free text into the boxes and these will appear on the contract site or house type.
Contacts Tab
Enter a list of job titles that will be used in the contracts module. Click into each row to enter details for a new person.
Milestone Tab
Enter a list of milestones that will be used in the contracts module. Click into each row to enter new details..
