The settings below change delivery note settings and the printed delivery note layout. You can prevent over deliveries and negative deliveries and change how the book out products screen looks.
Click: System Config > Documents > Delivery Note Layout
Print Carcase, Doors & Appliances on Separate Pages
Tick to separate the delivery note onto separate pages.
Hide Sub-Items / Components
Tick to remove any sub-items from the printed delivery note (e.g. doors, components, accessories).
Remove the product code
When ticked the product code will not be shown on the printed delivery note
Show Dimensions (replaces delivery comments)
Tick to set product dimensions to appear on the printed delivery note. They will replace the comments field on the printout.
Use Simple Delivery
When ticked a simple delivery note is used. When clicking to produce a delivery note you will not be presented with options to select what to deliver, but it will automatically print a delivery note to deliver all products. It is recommended not to use the simple delivery note.
Don't Allow Over Deliveries
This is a validation rule so you cannot enter a quantity to deliver higher than the quantity on the order.
Don't Show "To-Follows" on the Delivery Note
Tick this to remove the "To Follow" section on the printed delivery note. Otherwise the delivery note lists products not delivered this time under a sub-heading "To Follow"
Group using "Own Product Groups"
With this option selected the products will be listed under product groups, the same as they can for quotes and acknowledgments.
Note that you need to have the box "Remove product groups" un-ticked on the Quotation Layout setting as this will alter your delivery note as well as quotations.
Don't Allow Negative Deliveries
Tick this so that you cannot reverse deliveries by entering a negative quantity.
Don't allow delivery if the product has not been received
Tick to prevent an item going on a delivery note if it has not been booked in from a purchase order.
Remove items from the book out screen if they haven't been received
With this option ticked the products that have not been "booked in" from a purchase order will not be shown on the delivery note screen, so they cannot be accidentally delivered before they are available.
Show additional contact information in the delivery address
Tick this option, and the printed delivery note will show the delivery address and the associated name and telephone/fax numbers.
Additional Layout Options
Click the button to see the following options:
Layout
Click here to swap between standard trade layout or standard retail layout. The trade layout shows extra reference numbers and more information in the header.
Show Signature Line
Tick to show a line for customer's signature and date to appear at the end of the delivery note. This will appear below any terms and conditions if you enter them into the notes box.
Standard delivery notes
Insert notes here that you want to appear on every delivery note, e.g. terms and conditions. Notes placed here default onto every delivery note but they can be customised for each delivery note individually from the delivery note screen.
Click Update to save and close the window when finished
