You can configure component catalogue headings so there are default catalogue ranges for carcases and doors. The choices you make will be available as default headings when users click New Furniture Quote so it can be both time saving for the user and you can restrict heading combinations.
Click: System Config > Quotations & Pricing > Heading Prompts > My Component Configuration (button at the top right)
Add an Own Range
To add a new "own range" follow these steps:
- Tick the Enable own component configuration to turn the option on.
- Click Add to add a new range title to the list on the left.
- Enter a title into the row.
- Select a carcase manufacturer and a range from the drop down boxes.
- Select a door manufacturer and a door range from the drop down boxes.
- Select Additional Door Options. These vary depending on the catalogue selected.
- Tick the Locked box next to any field to prevent the user from changing them when beginning a new quote. Otherwise the headings selected here will be suggestions that can then be edited by the user when they begin a quote.
- Click Update to save and close the window.
Select an Own Range on a quote
Now when you begin a new furniture quote, there is a new My Range option:
Your users can select from the combination of headings that you setup above.
