You can login to your EQ Flex software using a Chromebook laptop or any computer running Google Chrome OS Flex. This is an operating system with the Chrome web browser at its core.
Note: You need to be using EQ Flex to access on Chrome OS. A local installation of EQ (version 17 and older) cannot be installed onto Chrome OS.

Logging on
- Open Chrome from your taskbar:
- In the bar at the top type in the web address you have been given https://eqflex.eqsoftware.co.uk
- Login with your username and password:
- Click the EQ Flex icon and login with your EQ password.
Controls
Right-click
Chrome OS has 2 methods to right-click (or secondary click) on a Chromebook:
- Press and hold the Alt key on the keyboard and tap the trackpad (or click the mouse)
- Press on the trackpad with 2 fingers at the same time
Printing
When you go to print a document from EQ the printer will automatically be selected as Remote desktop virtual printer (redirected). There is no need to change it.
- Click Print as normal in EQ.
You will see the browser tell you that printing has started:
- Go to the top right of Chrome and select the 3 dots menu, then pick Downloads:
- Your Chrome downloads will open a list like this:
Click the document name Remote Print Job.pdf to open it immediately or click Show in folder to work with the file locally (and email for example).
The filename of the print job will increase with a sequential number as you print more documents.
