As a supplier providing your product data for catalogue content you have access to an EQ Foundation licence so that you can view and experience your catalogues like all EQ users.
Software installation
You will possibly require assistance from your IT support because you will need Windows administrator privileges to install EQ. Follow this article for installation instructions.

You will be sent an email with a zip file containing one or more catalogues.
- Save the zip file from your email.
- Right-click the zip file and select Extract All...
Windows will begin the unzipping wizard like this: - In the box for the folder name, highlight the existing text and replace it with:
c:\easyquote v3 catalogues. - Click the Extract button.
Wait while Windows unzips your files.
Once finished Windows will show your files in a folder. You can close the folder with the X at the top right. - Open EQ and login through the password screen. If you have not setup any user or password then leave the password box empty and click OK.
Watch the video or follow the steps below: - EQ will open to the main white screen. Click the arrow under Product Catalogues and select Catalogues from Disk.
- Open the supplier name by clicking the + and then put a X mark next to every catalogue name to select them all.
Click the Download Catalogues button and wait for the progress bars to complete. EQ will automatically close itself. - Re-open EQ and log back in. Your catalogues are now installed.

- From the main EQ toolbar click the Product Catalogues icon:
- Double-click the catalogue title and then double-click a product type and category to expand them. Every catalogue has 2 levels of categorisation:
- Click on a product on the left to see the details on the right side:
In the top, the product options (if any) and prices will be shown. These prices are the list price (either trade or retail depending on your catalogue type). A retailer can apply a cost discount and their margin/markup to calculate a selling price.
Across the bottom right the tabbed headings show all the product detail that is included in your catalogue. These tabs are:
Detail | A summary of the main image, product code, description and specification. Click the calculator icon to view the pricing information summary: |
Images | Up to 4 images can be shown; main image, secondary image, technical image, and lifestyle image. |
Links | Hyperlinks to product pages or online PDFs with product spec, fitting instructions, energy label etc. |
Spec | The full text of the product specification. |
Comments | Comments are text notes that appear on screen when users add products to quotes/order. |
Accessories | Products can have links with other associated products. E.g. drain wastes or over shelves. These products are offered as a popup box when a user adds the main product to a quote/order as an upsell option. |
Properties |
Shows the height, width and depth values, gross weight and EAN barcode number (if entered with the catalogue data) |
The other tabs are for user entered customisable information. |

- From the main EQ toolbar click the Product Catalogues icon:
- Click the Search button on the left.
- Begin to type a product code into the search box and see the results instantly refresh:
The product's list price is shown to the lower right.
All of the product tabs are available across the bottom:

The other tabs are for user entered customisable information. - You can also search by selecting the drop-down boxes to find products by type, category, dimensions and more.
