EQ offers the ability to order directly with selected suppliers, removing the need to telephone or send emails separately. The process varies across suppliers.
In addition to the suppliers below, you can also send and receive orders between EQ systems, which saves double-entering, reduces re-keying errors and speeds up the process for the retailer and manufacturer. The process uses EQX files to send orders electronically. Read more in Sending purchase orders via EQX.
PWS Direct Ordering
You can use PWS Direct Ordering (formerly TradeZone) to place orders directly into the PWS sales order system from EQ in real time. Stock is allocated instantly and your order processed as soon as it is received, providing you with instant information about back-orders and delivery dates.
To begin using in EQ you need to go to the Supplier Database icon, locate PWS and click the PWS Direct Ordering icon on the left to input your PWS user ID and key.
Crosswater
Crosswater XML is an easy to use platform allowing you to create purchase orders for all Crosswater, Bauhaus, Simpson and Adora products through EQ.
Once you have generated an order it is automatically sent directly to the ordering system. After your order is fully processed and checked you will receive email confirmation.
Abacus Direct
You require EQ version 14.2 and above
Orders are delivered to Abacus via a CSV file that is automatically attached to your purchase order email. All you need is the version number above and to have EQ setup to send emails. (Please note that it cannot send via Outlook so EQ will need to be configured for direct email. This would not affect all your other email sending which can continue to use Outlook if required).)
Tradeplace
With an Internet connection you can place orders for appliances, check availability and download current prices.
Tradeplace provides ordering for Bosch, Neff, Siemens, Electrolux, Whirlpool, Indesit and Philips.
