Click the Stock Control icon on the top toolbar.
The stock details tab shows you the stock record:
Stock Details
Stockcode
This can be over typed to change it and does not necessarily have to be the same as the product code.
Description
Will show the standard product description but you can over type it to change it.
Option/Colour
Will be completed if it is part of the product description.
Manufacturer
Will show the product manufacturer.
Default Stock Location
Pick from the drop down box or click Edit Popup Contents to add new locations. It is advisable to leave this as Default Location.
Bin/Shelf
Pick from the drop down box or click Edit Popup Contents to add new Bin/Shelf Options.
Category
Pick from the drop down box or click Edit Popup Contents to add new locations.
Supplier
Pick from the drop down box which lists all suppliers on the system. If your supplier is not in the list you can add a supplier.
Show the stockcode on Purchase Orders
Tick the box to use the stockcode displayed here, instead of the normal product code.
Status
Total In Stock
Displays the current stock level. You cannot edit this.
Allocated
Displays the quantity if any of the items have been allocated to an order (after a picking list has been printed). Click Edit Popup Contents to see the history of what has been allocated.
Reorder Level
The stock level at which you need to reorder the stock item. You can edit this.
Minimum Order Quantity
The quantity to reorder when the stock reaches the reorder level. You can edit this.
Order in Multiples of
Information for the point of order to ensure correct quantities are selected.
Cost Price
Will be completed with the standard cost price but you can over type to edit this.
Sell Price
Only to be updated if required, otherwise the catalogue price will be used.
My Catalogue Products
If you edit any items you have added to My Catalogue after they have been added as a stock record, editing the description, cost, supplier and product code will be shown in the stock detail too. It will also ask if you want to update the stock code of the product.
