Import a plan from Winner Design to EQ Flex

1. Begin in Winner and create your plan as normal.
   
   
2. Once your design is finished in Winner, select Alternative > ASCII Export > Export Quotation (ASCII).
   
   
   
   A message will then tell you where the file has been saved, as shown below:
   
   
   
   
3. Open the This PC / Computer icon and navigate to that folder and file.
   (Example below, if using the default folder path):
   
   
   
   Right-click the w000000xx.e01 file and select Copy.
   
   You should paste it into a folder that you can access from the other PC that has EQ installed.
   If the PCs are not connected, you could email a copy of that file, or insert a USB memory stick and paste the file there to take to your EQ PC.

To copy your plan from Winner into EQ Flex, follow these steps:

1. In EQ Flex, click the Upload new file button in the taskbar at the top of the window.
   
   
   
   
2. Navigate to the saved file in the File Explorer window that appears. Right-click on the file and choose Open. This will upload the file to EQ Flex.
   
   
3. Choose the customer for whom you want to create a quote, or Create a new customer if necessary.  Click on the Folder on the left side of the screen to access the customers folder in File Explorer.
   
   
4. In the File Explorer window, scroll down the left side of the screen until you find the Remote Desktop Virtual Drive. Open the Upload folder to locate the Winner file you uploaded earlier. Right-click on this file and choose Copy.
   
   
5. Return to the customers folder by either clicking the back button until you reach it, or close the window and click on Folder again with the customer selected.
   
   

1. In EQ, open the Customer List:
   
   
   
   
2. Click the arrow by the Winner Plan button and select Copy Existing Plan into Customer Folder:
   
   
   
   
3. Browse to the w000000xx.e01 file that you exported, select it and click OK.

You are ready to import your plan into a quote using either method below:

Matching products - use this to select EQ catalogue products.

Freecodes - use this to import the Winner product code, description and price "as is".

1. Create a quote by clicking the New button on the customer screen:
   
   
   
   
2. Complete the heading options for your manufacturer and colour choices as required and click OK.
   
   
3. From the blank quote, on the bottom toolbar click the drop-down arrow next to the New Plan button. Click on Import from [PLAN NAME].E01:
   
   
   
   
4. The Match Products screen opens. Here you can select the items you wish to import by putting an X in the box to the left of each one:
   
   
   
   In the left-hand window, you will see the products imported from Winner, and when you click on a product, displayed on the right-hand side are the EQ equivalents.
   
   Unmatched red products
   
   
5. Products that appear in red do not currently match to an EQ product. Click on a red product and click the Match Products button. You will then be able to use the Product Details screen to select an appropriate product code in EQ.
6. When you select the product, you will be asked if you would like to link this product in the future. Click Yes and the selection will be remembered the next time you import that code.
7. Matched black products
8. Products in black without an X mark require you to select an alternative from the right of the screen because EQ is presenting multiple options for the code.
9. Products in black with an X are already matched and selected. No action is required.
10. Import Products
11. Once you have selected the items you require (all these items are now identified with an X in the box), click Import Products at the bottom. These will be priced and added to the quotation.
12. Whilst importing, you may encounter some prompt boxes, such as a door selector or a screen to choose product options. Choose the relevant options to continue to the quotation screen displaying all of your products.

1. Create a quote by clicking the New button on the customer screen:
   
   
   
   
2. Complete the heading options for your manufacturer and colour choices as required and click OK.
   
   
3. Select Import (Free Codes)… > and select the name of your plan:
   
   
   
   
4. The CAD Import window opens showing your products as below:
   
   
   
   Tick each product line under Import to select it for import, or click Select All at the bottom.
   
   These products will import as “freecode products” in EQ, which means the code, description, and pricing from Winner will be used on the EQ quotation. The products will not use EQ’s catalogue data.
   
   
5. You can select an EQ product to use on individual product lines:
   
   Right-click the Catalogue Code column and either select Import As or Always Import As. The latter will remember the link for future imports. You will be presented with the EQ search screen to locate a product.
   
   
6. Once you have selected all the products you require, click Import. The quote will be populated.
   
   You can now continue to work with the quotation in EQ as usual.
