If you operate your EQ system with shared data (e.g. in a showroom across multiple PCs) and you experience some slow performance or random disconnects you should check your PC and server's power management settings. Windows can set some parts of your PC to enter a reduced power state which will prevent them responding, or slow them down. Sending an email or saving a Word document (for example) is unlikely to show the same symptoms as a business application such as EQ.
