Add-on orders can be used to add extra items to an order after the original order has been placed. Addons are chargeable to your customers so have a cost and sales value.
(Remedials are for additions that are not chargeable).
The benefit of creating an Addon order is that it is linked to the original order and you can view combined costings to help keep track.

To create an Addon order:
- Locate your original order in the Customer List screen or the Projects Sales Orders screen.

Right-click the order ref and select Create… > Create Add-on
- Answer Yes to the Create Add On order question.
A new blank remedial is created with a new reference number. Remedials will have a suffix added to the reference number, e.g. R1. (See auto numbering setup).
- The add on order opens at a blank screen. Press Edit at the bottom left.
- Work with the remedial order as you would with a full order.
If you need to add any products that are the same as the original sales order, there is a convenient menu next to the Add button, to pick from Original Order items:
Otherwise you can add and remove products in the same way as a full order using the Add Product button.
- Repeat as necessary to add more products. Continue to work with the order as a normal order.

When you are finished with the order click Save on the bottom toolbar. You can then click Print.
Working with Addon Orders
To access add on orders for viewing/editing, they are stored in the sales order tab with full orders. Right-click the reference number to open, place orders and progress through the usual stages.
