Released 17/04/2024
Overview
The features in the above video are available to both EQ version 17.8 + and EQ Flex version 18 +
New Features
- New user interface design with brand new coloured icons. This delivers a gentle colour palette, making it clearer and easier to read your information.
- Mix multiple furniture catalogues in one quote or order.
You can now create quotes and orders with a mixture of fitted furniture catalogues. It’s great for mixing brands across special feature units, or combining a kitchen and utility on one order for example.
Quotation headings have been expanded to give access to all the furniture and door catalogue options, making it easier to manage different door choices.
The Add button can now prompt you to pick the correct heading before selecting your products. - Printed quotes will show your separate headings with all the heading information.
Enable this setting in System Config > Configuration and tick Show Alternative Headings on Quote Add Button - Uform Direct Ordering
Link EQ directly to Uform to send rapid orders and receive quick supplier confirmations. No additional steps are needed to send an order outside of EQ so you can place accurate orders and receive confirmations quickly.
Go to your EQ Suppliers screen and click the Uform EDI Ordering button.
- In Projects > Sales Orders there is a new Find option for Own Sales Ref.
- New Lost/Status Button
There is a new Lost button on the quote/sales order screen. This provides easier access to the existing quote/order status, that was previously only accessible by right-clicking on an order ref.
The button name can be customised in System Config > Heading Prompts. - New option to change how additional furniture headings are shown on the printed quote and acknowledgement. Showing the heading on the page header can be less cluttered than showing it on every product line. In System Config > Quotation Layout > Show Heading Title/Name with Range Name on page Header (not per Line item).
Changes
- New option in System Config > Manufacturing to set the Factory Order to print in item number sequence (not product group sequence).
- Speed optimisations across the system.
- Settings for EQX (files for ordering between EQ systems) are now available in Users > Additional Info > Miscellaneous/Folders tab. If there is no location specified, it will default to the PC's Downloads folder).
Fixes
- Issue with range notes (on the Headings screen) displaying correctly.
- Maximum user discount limit for My Catalogues products.
- Using the zero door prices option, it applied the £0 to My Catalogue sub-items as well as doors.
- Special cost override in Contracts.
