There are 4 main screens for scheduling contained within Diary. What's the difference between Diary, Schedule and Resource Planner?
| Screen | Recommended Use |
| Appointments Diary | Display appointments, calls, meetings, visits and other personal type of diary entries. Can be filtered by person or showroom. Can be synchronised with Google Calendar. Setup Actions to define what is shown here. |
| Schedule | Display expected supplier incoming deliveries and outgoing customer deliveries, perfect for organising warehouses. Setup Actions to define what is shown here. |
| Resource Planner | Shows 1 column per resource (person or vehicle). Used for scheduling installation jobs and trades. Supports half day and whole day scheduling. Setup Actions to define what is shown here. |
| Weekly Production List/Weekly Delivery List | Shows orders and used to organise a production schedule or delivery schedule (based on the respective Key Date - Production or Delivery). |
All options are available under this button on the main toolbar:
The resources and actions are common list of resources (usually staff) amongst all 3 of these and the Communication section of the customer screen.
The key to setting up these schedules (and the first step) is to decide which actions will appear on which schedule.
