This article shows how to display data in the Dashboard. Dashboard displays your quotations, sales orders, customer deliveries, customer payments, profit margins, purchase orders, supplier deliveries, sales pipeline and stock.
- Open the Dashboard by clicking the icon on the top toolbar.
The Dashboard will open with no data expanded and no graphs, by default. - For your chosen category (e.g. Quotations) choose your time period for each category by clicking on the drop down arrow and select from the list, e.g. This Year.
- Click the arrow on the left to display the Total Value.
- Click the next arrow down to display the classifications like customer types, sales person, source of lead:
- Click the next arrow to display the detail of the classification:
- Repeat this selection process for each category of interest. The categories are:
Quotations
Sales Orders
Profit Margin
Customer Deliveries
Sales Invoices
Customer Payments
Purchase Orders
Customer Balances
Stock
Sales Pipeline (note that if Opportunities is enabled, Pipeline is removed)
Opportunities (if activated)
To close any of the details, click the arrows again to hide them.
You can hide the categories you do not wish to use by clicking the Configure option at the top right and disabling some categories.
Detail Displayed on Quotations
The No. column displays the quantity of quotations produced.
The Conv. % column displays the percentage of the total value that has been converted from a quotation to a sales order.
The Total £ shows total value.
All categories have their own unique columns, e.g. Profit Margin will show margin in percentage and value.
All figures in dashboard are displayed exclusive of VAT.
Open More Detail
Double-click on a classification line to open a window showing individual quotes/orders. From that screen you can then right-click the reference number to open the quote/order for editing.
Change the time period
When you are displaying the data you can change the time period and EQ will immediately refresh the data. Click the drop down arrow to reselect from the list.
When you have expanded the dashboard to show your data and time period your settings will be remembered next time you open the dashboard. When you make changes it will always remember the last view you used.
