When you install a catalogue in EQ you install base prices (as per the published catalogue from the supplier). To have EQ calculate your cost and sell prices you should setup EQ with a discount (if you get a better buying price than the list price) and a margin (which is applied to your cost price, to give you your selling price). This is very important pricing setup to ensure your prices are correct.
There are 3 levels that you can setup catalogue pricing and it operates in a hierarchy with the most specific settings (level 3) overriding the others.
Level 1 - One margin and discount on the whole catalogue and all products within it
Level 2 - Different discounts and margins depending on either the range (furniture) or product type (non-furniture e.g. appliances, sinks etc.)
Level 3 - Individual Prices, which can have different discounts and margins for every product.
All of these catalogue settings are accessed in this screen.
1. Click Supplier List (main toolbar):
2. Click a supplier name to select it.
3. Click the Catalogues button to open this screen:
The buttons for level 2 and level 3 apply to the catalogue title that you have highlighted.
